Woman is banned from social club for telling dirty jokes during bingo game.
Patricia Brown, a 71 years old disabled pensioner woman, was banned from her social club after telling some dirty jokes when playing bingo. She was joking about the bikini strings and saying other comments just for adults while the numbers were being called.
Apparently, a committee member of the club was sitting in the audience and complained about Mrs. Brown's jokes. This club is the Woodville Box in Swadlincote, Derbys.
Mrs. Brown who has been a club member for 25 years, has been banned for a month and now must spend Christmas at home far away from their friends at the club.
These are some of her statements:
''I'm really upset about this and I'll be missing out on all the fun over Christmas."
''I made some very harmless comments in the company of adults and, by chance, the club president was sitting behind me."
''I really can't believe I've been banned from the club that has been the base of my social life for nearly 25 years for this."
''Now all I can do is sit at home and rely on my husband, Roger, to keep me company and help with my disability.''
Mrs. Brown, who has trouble walking and has mental health problems, used to visit the club to drink and socialize four times a week. She was planning to go play bingo during the Christmas holidays with her husband Roger of 70 years but now will spend it at home.
We hope that despite the punishment, she had a great Christmas with her husband and loved ones.
