A game of Bingo reaches high ground with one bingo lover.
I was surfing the internet in search of some crazy bingo news to report you and look what I found. I was almost sure that bingo players were capable of everything to raise money for charity but after reading this story I have no doubt.
Mark Simm is from Wigan and loves bingo. He has made up a team of 24 followers; they want to break a record, which is playing the world's highest bingo game. So they have decided to simply climb the Mount Everest. They are leaving Oct.19th from Lukla and they hope to reach the base of Mount Everest on Oct.24th, and if everything goes fine they will be playing the highest game of bingo the same day. They have been training to play in this altitude above St John's Beacon Observation Tower. Their goal is not only to break a record but also raising a £100,000 for the Sue Ryder Care charity. I hope the bingo balls don’t freeze. Are they going to be able to daub their bingo cards with gloves on? Or will their daubers work if it’s too cold? Who knows? We wish them good luck!! There was also some news about a Bingo-loving granny who wanted to demonstrate that age wasn't stopping her from a good rush of adrenaline. At the age of 92 she decided to try skydiving for the first time, and she went for the big jump at the beginning of September. She said it was a crazy experience and she couldn’t remember the jump; she thinks she must have fainted during the jump. Her family is a little bit worried about what will happen next? Do you think she is taking that much risk when she is playing a game of bingo? If you want to read more about it visit this webpage.
Would you be able to do things like this? I know I wouldn’t!!!! I am too scared!!! Bingo.com is the safest place to play a game of bingo. And you can still break records by winning the biggest jackpot although you can do it from the comfort of your home!
