Bingo is a computer-animated short film directed by Chris Landreth and created in 1998. The story is based on the stage play ‘Disregard This Play’ by the theater troupe The Neo Futurists. It was directed by Chris Landreth. The story is about an ordinary man who is surrounded by characters who insist that he is someone called “Bingo the Clown” even though he is not. The man, worn down by their insistence, starts to believe he is Bingo the Clown. When they created Bingo, Chris Landreth was working at Alias|wavefront, and it has been used to show the skills of the company’s Maya animation software.

Bingo Little is a character in a number of books authored by P. G. Wodehouse. Richard P. “Bingo” Little is a periodic character from the Drones and the Jeeves stories of british comic writer P.G. Wodehouse. Bingo's most noteworthy character trait is his overwhelming romantic nature, where he is inclined to fall in love at first sight on a regular basis and become highly emotional. He has been compared to "the hero of a musical comedy” who takes the centre of the stage, gathers people round him in a circle, and tells them all about his love at the top of his voice.
Athletes
Bingo DeMoss, a professional baseball player (Sept 5th, 1889 – Jan 26th, 1965) and manager in the Negro Leagues . He was born in Topeka, Kansas. It was in Topeka that he began his playing career in 1905 with the Topeka Giants. He is considered the finest fielding second baseman of the 1910's and 1920's Negro Leagues. He was the captain of the 1926 Negro League Champion Chicago American Giants. Using great bat control, DeMoss is considered one of the greatest bunters in Negro League History. DeMoss was well respected in his community on the South Side of Chicago, known for his keen sense of business and money management he often provided support in the form of loans and opportunities to those in need, despite the era of 'Segregation' throughout the United States.
Another athlete named Bingo Smith was a professional basketball player. Robert "Bingo" Smith (born Feb. 26th, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee) was a Forward/Guard for the San Diego Rockets (1969-70), Cleveland Cavaliers (1970-79) and San Diego Clippers (1979-80). He helped the Cavaliers win the 1975-76 NBA Central Division. Smith was inducted into the University of Tulsa Athletics Hall of Fame in 1984. His number "7" has been retired by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
