The Bingo World and us
We are now on the fourth edition of Bingo community, where we describe ourselves through different and comedic bingo characters and we try to find a little bit of each of them in us. They all share a passion for Bingo but are all quite different. Today we will talk about 2 bingo characters that frequently visit our bingo halls. They are:
The Superstitious One:
This player always brings her lucky charms; with a bunny's paw in her purse, exotic spices brought from Africa, a lucky cushion, the special jade stone from Mexico this player visits only on specific days and believes the amount of bingo cards must be in harmony with the stars, and the bingo caller's astrological sign. All these factors and many more are of vital importance for the Superstitious one. She hopes that a big black cat does not enter the hall from a high window and gives her a defiant look or that an old, careless lady decides to suddenly open her wet umbrella inside. That would be definitely catastrophic!
The Bingo Gossip:
The gossip seems to enjoy sneaking in other bingo players affairs. She is not very appreciated within the Bingo Community because generally she only causes problems to become even bigger. - "Do you think that she is going out with that guy? Ever since I saw them daubing their bingo cards together...."- or - "Oh it was outrageous, I think the bingo caller drank one or two extra cocktails that night, and began to call those numbers backwards". - Everything can be used to create the hottest gossip that pretty soon can become an scandal. Sadly, people, in time, begin to be really careful with the Bingo Gossip, and unless she doesn't learn to control herself she ends up with less friends then when she started. After all, gossip always seems to be more destructive that constructive.
