5 ways to have fun with your bingo buddies!
Either at the bingo hall or online, practical jokes can lighten up the mood when playing bingo – which as you know can sometimes get too serious or grim. Bingo is a fun social game, and focusing too much on winning can ruin your fun.
We’ve got some silly but fun pranks you can try on your friends to liven up the game of bingo both at the hall and in our very own bingo chat rooms. The important thing is to make sure your bingo jokes are harmless, and that your target is a good sport!
1. The Classic.
Plant a Whoopee Cushion on their favourite or lucky seat. This one’s obvious, but a classic! At the bingo hall, wait for your friend to find their lucky seat then toss the bag on the chair just before they sit. The loud sound of flatulence will have the hall roaring with laughter immediately!
2. Virtual Zoo Break.
Complain that there has been an escape from a nearby zoo and that you are afraid that escaped primates including some very aggressive lemurs have found their way into the bingo rooms. Ask online bingo buddies and bingo chat hosts whether you think there should be an evacuation of the rooms, and see how long it takes for them to realize the joke (virtual rooms – thus no danger!).
3. The Risky Practical Joke.
Replace their bingo dauber with invisible ink. Make sure your bingo buddy is a good sport before trying this one! When they’re not looking, swap their bingo dauber with invisible ink and see how long it takes for them to notice that their bingo cards haven’t been daubed!
4. Wax Intellectual.
Surprise your bingo chat friends by sounding off about some political or philosophical topic. Do a search online for a really “dry” topic and start addressing the chat room with your facts and findings. The chat room is usually a fun, easy forum and no-one is really serious or philosophical. Everyone will find it quite odd and funny that you’ve decided to become a bingo professor.
5. Switched at Bingo.
This one will take some time and effort, and again make sure your target is a good sport! Custom-make some fake bingo cards and swap them with a friend’s cards just before the bingo game starts. Make sure when creating them to switch the numbers around so that even after several numbers, they won’t have anything daubed. A nice thing to do would be to swap them out but daub their actual bingo cards for them, so that in case they really win, you can split the pot!
