Bingo is a game enjoyed by millions of people around the world, and is a very easy game to pick up. Like many of today's most popular games, bingo is a game of chance where players attempt to match randomly selected numbered balls from a bin (or cage, box, air-tube - literally anything that can hold bingo balls), with the numbers displayed on corresponding bingo cards.

Usually a bingo caller will call out the letter and number on the ball that is randomly selected... for example, in 75 ball bingo, the bingo caller will call out "B1! O72!"

But beware - each type of bingo has different rules, patterns, and bingo cards. Make sure to check out individual game information page for each type of bingo game, whether it’s 75 Ball Bingo, 80 Ball Bingo, or the ever popular 90 Ball Bingo game. You may even prefer one type of bingo over another, but just make sure you know that each game is unique and fun in its own way.

To let fellow bingo players know that you've won a game, players traditionally yell out “BINGO!” This is very important, and arguably the most fun part of the game! Then, once confirmed by a bingo spotter or the bingo chat room monitors, a player receives the pot promised to the winner of the bingo game, also known as the bingo jackpot.

So in a nutshell:

1.  A bingo player purchases bingo cards.
2.  The Bingo Caller or online bingo host begins calling the bingo numbers.
3.  Players use a bingo dauber to mark off the numbers on their bingo cards and try to match the bingo pattern for that game.

And last but not least, if you think you've won the game... yell BINGO!
